Hello again. I'm the same anon from the other night who said I went to try and watch MLP FIM for the first time and turned it off instantly because I felt too degenerate. I just put the show on again and I'm gonna let it play through. I'll probably fall asleep with it on, but we'll see if I'll enjoy it. Aside from that attempt to watch it and general online interactions with the fan base (and weirdos like Chris Chan), my only other personal experience with the franchise has been the porn, especially Rainbow Dash and Derpy. Will I like her character or does she just have a good design?

I've been enjoying it enough so far. It's a cute show. I do have a question though, I've seen a background extra pony that looks exactly like Derpy minus the cute messed up eyes, is that just coincidental, or did they turn that extra into a character, or something else like that?

I thought I saw her with her goofy eyes for a second but I didn't rewind the episode to check, especially since she had normal eyes again when I next saw her. The only show related things I know about her is she was somewhat controversial (don't know why) and was a popular side character with fans.

>>43243398If you wind up liking what you see in season 1, I recommend taking a bit of a break before season 2 and immerse yourself in some of the early fanbase's content, like SoGreatAndPowerful's album "The Standard Model", whatever animations or YTPs you can come across, Rainbow Dash Presents, etc. it can give you a real feel for the vibe and creativity we used to have, and it might make stuff that happens in later seasons make a bit more sense, as the showrunners took a lot from the fanbase's headcanons and creations. Hope you enjoy the show, anon!! Season 1 in particular is very comfy, but if it's not quite to your liking it may get better for you over time.
