When faust left, when twilight got wings, when the tree got destroyed, when glimmer became a mainstay etc etc. but the castle is the worst offender. it changed the physical landscape of the little hamlet we had grown accustomed to. and it changed for the worse for no good reason.

There's a lot of flaws in the world building Faust and co didn't put much thought into. I don't expect children's show writers to know how to properly construct an immersive fantasy world though, that's way beyond their expertise. But I still love the show despite its faults because it has soul.
