I unironically really enjoy the headcanon of her being a warrior princess or some shit. It even brings something good out of the S9/G5 style canon that apparently Equestria went to multiculturalist shit. Flurry can be the based furher of the Crystal Reich, securing the existence of the crystal race and a future for pony children.

I recently read a short one-shot on fimfiction of Flurry being an Ivan the Terrible style ruler.


Overall, I like Flurry for a very specific reason, in that she's a major character with a lot of unanswered lore questions which are completely not shown in canon. She's an alicorn, natural-born for mysterious reasons, presumably a future princess, but all we see her is as a baby with absolutely zero indication of her future. This makes it possible to imagine so many different outcomes for her.
In many ways this was a strength of the show in the early seasons: you had this magical, fantastic world, and a lot of the specifics and deeper lore questions were completely open-ended. Where did alicorns come from? What kind of creatures are they? Are there any more? What happened before Celestia and Luna's rule? What was Starswirl like? What was ancient Equestria like? A million open-ended mythology, cosmology, history and lore questions to think about, imagine, write greentexts about or theorycraft. But then as the seasons went on and the writers started wanting to live up to "epic" season openers and finales, and pandering to the known adult fandom, they started coming up with retarded lore that would settle canon in a specific direction, usually that direction would be utterly retarded, and would dampen any speculation or imagination there is now a canon answer for it. The world and mythology of Equestria only narrowed over time, settling into a mostly retarded, poorly-written, often inconsistent shape, mandated by official canon.

Flurry, in my view, represents one of the few elements that maintains the same kind of open-ended potential that the early seasons had. Enough potential and significant in the world to suggest deep implications and stimulate speculation, but no official confirmation of the actual facts thereafter, no shitty hamfisted canon fate for Flurry. Just an open-ended future for everyone to imagine as they like.

Imagining Flurry's role in post-S9 Equestria is honestly the only reason I ever even think about the show's canon ending anymore. Warrior-princess and Cozy redemption arc being my favourite scenarios as mentioned above, but the open-endedness is the important part about it.

The alicorn lore was already thoroughly butchered by the point of her introduction, so I'm genuinely glad that they at least gave us a blank slate to play with, untarnished by shitty exec-forced writing, one driving force that can shape the future of Equestria unshackled by canon.

Much like RD she also enjoys others' attention and can the (extra) magic would make it easier for her to bake and throw parties.

The only ones I can't think of anything for of the top of my head are AJ and Rarity. But, in general, eternal youth (or at least being young for thousands of years) is pretty beneficial to most people's personal goals.
Also, the Mane Six being around for Twilight would also be beneficial for her, considering the idea is for her to replace the Celestia AND Luna. Those are 2 people with mostly seperate duties, two of which are their respective specialties and we were shown they were struggling, she's 1 and prone to tweaking.
