I don't have the same level of resentment or whatever as some people in this thread about this, really. I do wanna say though that I'm really sad to hear this; AI's one of my biggest hobbies and I've definitely leaned into it more because of the controversy surrounding it, it's only made it more funny to be a part of. Sad to see a fellow slopbro fall victim to the doom and gloom aspect of it, but I get feeling bad about all of the people afraid of it. As much fun as I have with the tech and the drama surrounding it there is still a part of me that wishes people didn't have to be afraid.

That being said, I do think this is kinda like stopping your hobby of making homemade fun vehicles just because a big corporation has started being really greedy and slimy about the cars they sell. Fun AI projects aren't the same thing as all of the worry about data centers and shit at the moment, and a lot of people seem to get it kinda twisted. If you have around 10 GB of VRAM, it's entirely possible to use a local voice cloning model such as Fish Audio S2 to voice clone ponies.
I've had some success by taking the /ppp/ cleaned up voice clips and cloning off them.

The GGUF version out there is the fastest, and you can get about a sentence in a minute or so on mid-ranged hardware.

Yes as I said the fiverr like sites are bad. But again you guys said the 0% thing has never done before. It has? Quite successfully. 7.5% though is honestly pretty good. You should be accounting for 10% fees and taxes. Funny both comments praising the site happen right after another as soon as criticism is presented. Kind of gets the almonds jogging.
