I thought it was fitting in the wake of Anon writing his first song following the efforts of all the artists who drew for the Finish Line thread.Also my first time messing with Audacity. I tried to reduce the volume of my inhaling so it didn't stand out as much. I've been singing pony songs for fun the last couple years, though so far not having written any myself. >>43309517Long story short: size matters. There is less space in 5x1 rings for four rings than in 6x0.9 rings for six rings. So it's literally easier to weave them. I should have ordered 5x0.8 rings, but I got 2000 6x0.9 rings cheaper.As for 3D printing chainmail — it cannot replicate the satisfying clinking sound of metal rings. And my printer kinda sucks. So even if I were to print a chainmail it won't be smooth as metal. This is probably my skill issue because acetone with ABS plastic would allow me to achieve the desired surface, but I really don't want to bother myself with this. Yet.
