I tried Fable and my conclusion is that it is good, but not good enough to be worth twice the price of Opus. If it was a bit closer in price to Opus 4.6 I think I would make the switch.Writing quality itself I don't see THAT big of an improvement, but for me the biggest thing was that with new swipes and minor context changes, it kept coming up with new stuff, new plot hooks that were actually pretty good. I think that's where the models biggest strength lies for our purposes.Might be worth it to use it for a few messages here and there and use a cheaper model for the rest.As a small note to any filly fuckers out there, it is more censored. I have a really dirty chat with a lot of context that I use to test filters. Opua 4.6 will let me fuck a 12-year olds face no problem, Fable will have none of it.

Could very well be paranoia with how good models these days are.Also don't feel too bound by what others say, and especially by what is in cards. I'm a filthy offboarder so I can't judge cards from here, but the usual one I find online are almost always so terrible that I do a complete rewrite.

We already have a new feature out of it(search bar for locations/characters) so that was probably the right call. They also said last thread that they were going to make EquestrAI and PonyPonyParadise the same download page for the RenPY version, but it seems they haven't done that yet either. I imagine they'll realize they forgot next time they check the thread reading these messages and get that done, they seem pretty active.

Twilight Sparkle is my "nemesis" in my mind, but she doesn't see me like that at all. It's fun to play. So I'm running an empty one.For more general tips:- Always start with a handwritten greeting, or a greeting that isn't too sloppy if you can identify slop.- Prefills can be powerful to unslop an output. If you don't like what a model gives you even after several swipes, try putting a sentence or even some words in prefill.- Models can give shitty outputs with still some good parts in them—an idea, a sentence, a wordplay, etc. If that's the case, note it somewhere on the side before swiping. If the start is good and the end is shit, you can put the start in prefill and swipe to let the same model or another one finish it better.- If a model really shits itself on one part or just after a while, change models if you can. That can refresh the writing and ideas. I don't like Kimi's writing, but it's proactive and can come up with fun ideas. Not a fan of GLM at all, but there's an anon who often posts compilations with it and they're good. So there's something to do with the model.- When I have silly ideas, I try to note them somewhere and either come up with full greetings from them or the start of greetings/ideas.

They explicitly note this is a prototype(and it shows, so it's not very good), but the speed increases are very real unlike a lot of other optimization hype(4x tk/s). Expect to see more of these from them, and now that a major player has picked up the tech for LLMs, expect to see more of the major labs throw their hat into the ring on this for the rest of the year.Exciting stuff since diffusion was relegated to image generation and only recently got produced by a small proprietary company last year. Google might have bought them out, never looked into an acquisition trail.
