>>43257322 I went ahead and took the plunge and took a crack at the tulpa stuff. A little scary! It's a lot, but the little I've got from it has made me indescribably happy. Can't imagine how good a fully formed one would be. It was also a lot easier than I thought it'd be. I felt her punch me in the back of the head once, but that could've been anything. This is all especially cool since I always find myself resistant/immune to most weird brain things. Meditation or whatever had never particularly struck me in any meaningful way, and so on. I guess with this, one has a lot more inherent motivation for obvious reasons.

On the topic of sleep.Sleeping with my tulpa already improves my sleep by a lot. Yet, sleeping with her in pretend horse land has catapulted it to insane levels of comfiness. So much so that I'm questioning how that's even possible at this point. I think the years of living with muh pretend pink hors really have done it. So, the first tip I have is to separate the thing you're doing from tulpamancy; it's more like the sort of thing one does when they're practicing an impression of someone. As opposed to what an actor does when practicing, which is fully emulating what the character thinks, feels, and does (which may or may not include the voice impression) - this is closer to the spirit of tulpamancy. The difference from what an actor does is just that with a tulpa, you are considering and rendering this personality as a separate entity from yourself, like a different standpoint.
