Out of all the fucking Mare Fairs, this is the fucking worst one yet.

I think it really did a lot for MF3 to have the one central area wirh tables and people hanging out amd doing crafts and stuff, blending into the staircase and the artists congregating under there. Feels a lot more open than the current setup with mare square, pushed into one edge of our whole con space, and you have to stick your nose in to see what people are up to, rather than a quick look while passing by to the next panels. Convention space layout really matters a lot, is my main takeaway, and one that atomizes us too much is a detriment to the con experience. Hope the next venue will hit the mark closer to mf3's!The vendor hall being as big as it is this year is lovely though.

Venue has been the worst one yet. Aside from the shitty layout in general with the game room and those other few being in a separate wing, there is nowhere to park unless you wanna pay up the ass each day to park at the hotel. The free parking garages have a closing time so I can't even stay late and to even get to them you have to go through Disney springs which closes around 11, and walking through there takes like 20 minutes if you park at the closest garage. The opening time sucks too with it opening after today's earliest events. Fuck this year's venue, I miss having cheap motels next door that I could walk back at 2 am to and get to in 5 minutes.
