Yeah the vocals and reverb alone are clearly night and day in quality compared to a year ago, which in a way doesn't matter because the people who will most successfully leverage AI will treat it as a songwriting/production tool and not an all-in-one song generation machine. The chorus melody is already very strong and all it takes is small bit of reorganization and lyrical changes for it to be transplanted into an "original" song.

At the end of the day all it does is what human songwriters naturally do, just far faster and cheaper. I don't see how this doesn't take over the music industry. In reality, human artists will continue to exist except the music they release will have varying amounts of AI-influence in it and you'll have no way of knowing, and they'll have no way of falsifying it either.
