I've wanted to listen to (and make) metal that mixes all three together, without getting proggy about it. I notice that this seems to be rare, and often not good, HOWEVER, I would like recommendations of any good albums that have all three (so don't recommend stuff like Absu, Immortal, Akercocke or Vader that only mix two together)

>>127601685pretty cool
Pyromancer's recent album is more like the overlap of and connective tissue between black, death, and thrash, rather than the unique parts of each smashed together. Recommended if you dig endless variations of pedal tone chug.

>>127604329You're going to find the best and the most rawest, genuine mixes of death, thrash and black metal in the 1980s like this because back then nobody could agree what black metal and death metal even were and so everything was a mix of all threehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoEjwfaXQZ0
>>127604350genre fagging in general is fucking gay. just listen to whatever you want. who fuckin cares.
>>127601596Evanescence
>>127604311I have nothing to do with anyone in the band. And they do fuckin' destroy. Their second and third albums SOUND crazier, but they lack the same punch. Third gets close though.
they mostly do it because they can't write proper riffs without ripping off old bands
>>127604361Get out of my thread, you retard
>>127604415You're a champion for recommending that band, that's the best thing I've heard in months

>>127612204CF is an origin point for a lot of death/black/thrash bands, rather than a mixture of them. Is Black Sabbath a mix of rock, heavy metal, and doom?
>>127621311yes
>>127618770start with morbid tales and go forwrd
>>127622765That is completely backwards. There were no Platonic forms of music genres in the aether for Black Sabbath to pluck from. Others iterated on the innovations of Sabbath to make heavy metal, doom metal, and others. This mindset of genres as static aesthetics to use like elements in a collage is what gets us crap like Absolute Elsewhere.
