Actually had a guy like this in my class once. When someone said something funny, he would repeat it louder in front of them no fucks given while trying to grab attention. Like you'd make a comment in passing, and that guy would take it over and insist loudly if people didn't give a shit. He would even look back as if he was expecting you to laugh at your own joke or something. Unbelievable. Mind you it was in uni, not in grade school.
