>>

Not very (ie not at all)
>>

>>

I wear makeup and play breakbeats on instagram
>>
Good enough for rock.
Currently learning Overture 1928.

I'm fucking terrible.
It's not my main instrument, but I've played it a lot over the last 17-18'ish years.
I still suck playing 16th notes on the high hat with one hand. I still can't play a flam-triplet fill. I still can't ever tune my drum kit properly no matter what the fuck I do (It doesn't help my music room being a basement room with just a couch and a carpet for "room treatment")
It pisses me off really. I can learn very fast, but I plateau insanely fast too and I never can seem to ever progress no matter how much I practice specific shit with a metronome and stuff like that.
It's different with guitar. I progress when I practice there, but I've been stuck at the same drum level for almost the entire time I've had a drum kit.

I'd love to buy a new, bigger and better kit. Get it tuned really nice and then play for an hour or two every day for a while without anybody having to listen to me practice. But then I play and remember how fucking terrible I am and I shouldn't spend more money on a new kit.

guitarist who sometimes drums
pretty shitty but i can do simple stuff. think that you'll never be amazing at drums/percussion unless it's built in you started with them first. or you're black.

logod on my /mu/ board? uhh based??

2/10. I can do basic stuff but can't keep up with higher tempos.
D beating consistently is a challenge.

God I love this absolute gigachad. Best heel in decades.
>>
>>127717724
Beginner, if that. When I was in the high school jazz band the bandleader clapped for me in time so cause I couldn't keep the tempo, including when we were part of a live show
>>
>>127717724
I have never played drums in my life but i can program midi drums like a mf
>>
>>127722035
This basically, I can play my MPC like a pavement
>>
what the fuck is this expression meant to convey kek
>>
I was a drummer for a DFA1979 cover band in high school with my prior experience being literally nothing more than air drumming. It was shockingly easy. I don't know how peolle can be bad at it.
>>
>>127722340
because DFA1979 is so known for interesting rhythm sections kek
>>
>>127722340
Rock drumming is fairly easy for the most part.
>>
>>127717724
People have told me I'm good but I think I suck, doubt I'll ever be satisfied with my playing
>>
>>127717724
I can probably hit the sticks okay, but have no idea how to work the hi-hat or bass
