pretty gay

The Beatles own the 60's
Led Zeppelin owns the 70's
U2 owns the 80's or and argument could be made for Iron Maiden as well.
most would say that Nirvana owns the 90's but it's actually The Smashing Pumpkins
>>
>>127719778
this is obviously from a rockist POV and it depends on who you ask. i'm sure some people would say Tom Jones or Barbra Streisand defined the 60s as much as the Beatles.

True, since the Beatles were already taken I would mention my secret passion which are the romantic era musicians like Debussy, Chopin and Lizst, I rarely listen to classical music but those soft, mid to late 1800's are my secret passion, also Haayley in the late 00's to this day.

SOPHIE for 2010s
>>

Katy Perry was pretty much 2010s, late 2000's. I associate it with that Britney, Shakira, JLO aesthetic...or those gay bands like the Killers.
But I read on and yes, I do associate the 2010's with mumble rap, otherwise I woulda said 2010's is a little more Katy Perry style

I'd go
2000-2006:
Britney Spears OR one of the Nu Metal bands

2007-2010
Starts getting EDMy, Lady Gaga I associate those years with as well as Katy Perry

2010-2014
Pitbull esque, also that horrid Mumford and Son's stomp clap hey shit

2014-2020
Mumble rap crap

2020-2025
Pretty much the same...pop music that has been influenced by it and is more whiney than EVER in the fucking history of music WHY DO THEY ALL SOUND LIKE TODDLER WHO'S HAVING PAINFUL BOWEL MOVEMENTS?!
