So how did this concert dvd capture a kino vibe that has never been replicated since?

I never see KSE discussed on /mu/. Their 3 album run from Just Breathing to Daylight Dies is insane.

What's the difference of genre between asking Alexandria, underoath and kse? they're all somewhat metalcore but kse is clearly different to the first two, slower and heavier

Underoath of course had the turntableism. UØ sounds more like a metalcore jam by a group of talented highschoolers in a garage (tho this doesnt explain the much more technical eerie couple of black metal first releases which kind of sound like nothing else before or after them)
KSE were a group of seasoned riffers with the chug and echo turned on high under triplet picking, creating a deep heavy crushing sound pretty unique to only them at the time
What they have in common is the singing/screaming broken by passages of talking

Every time I come close to liking KSE their peakest reddit guitarist inserts himself center stage and i simply cannot tolerate my revulsion towards these types. He literally ruins the vibe on purpose for whatever self hating reason

Thanks
