Load and Reload are actually solid southern/blues rock albums that trash metal fans were too unintelligent to comprehend
>>
Anything with Lars on drums is low tier

Every 'tallica album is the best 'tallica album for different reasons.
>>

Jaymz was right that the amount of songs diluted the poison of 'Tallica, but he should've been nicer to Jason and he might have backed him against Lars and Kirk

There are good songs in both but not enough good material to fill two 80 minute albums.
One album would have been enough. Make an EP like pic related for the bad tracks.

There were 30 minutes of good music at most

St. [b]Anger is the Metallica I'll listen to post Black album.
>>
The Black Album is their best if you remove the 3 radio songs. Tracks like Wherever I May Roam and Of Wolf and Man are everything that was great about them distilled to their essential form.
>>
>>127722349
Unforgiven is the best song on the album though
>>
>>127722369
I like Unforgiven most out of the 'big 3'. But it's so overplayed I basically have it memorized and don't need to hear it again if I'm playing TBA.
>>

The radio songs are great. The Unforgiven and Nothing Else Matters are their best ballads and Enter Sandman has a very fun guitar part and an even more fun drum part despite their simplicity. It's a great record even though I'd love to hear what a sequel to AJFA would have sounded like.

he only started saying that after there was a backlash from those albums. there was no dilution and even if Reload wasn't as solid and nuanced as Load it still ended being better than anything that came after it, sans Garage Inc.

welcome to 90s CD bloat
>>
Oldfag here. I saw them on the Fuel For Life Tour. Korn opened and completely blew them away.
>>
>>127723526
So that's why St. Anger sounds like Korn.
>>

>Korn opened and completely blew them away.
Current Metallica brutally mogs Korn, let alone 90's Metallica
>>
>>127723547
Metallica have been doing great. Korn on the hand haven't released anything decent for 20 years.
