Who are some of the most underrated/overrated bands of all time?
>>127724537'Underrated' and 'overrated' have got to be two of the stupidest terms used to describe any sort of art. Nine times out of ten, when someone says 'underrated' they mean 'overlooked' and overrated just translates to 'popular thing I don't like'.
Frankly I think the music market is efficient. Everything I've ever heard described as overlooked ("underrated") was obviously never going to be popular, and everything I've ever heard that was good had some level of success, though maybe deservedly niche.
