>Success Hasn't Spoiled Me Yet is the sixth album by Australian rock musician Rick Springfield, released on RCA Records March 23, 1982. It produced three top 40 singles, "Don't Talk To Strangers", "What Kind of Fool Am I?", and "I Get Excited."

While DTTS is a cute song, album's very much a product of its time and Jessie's Girl is the only song of his that is still played or remembered at all.

Its crazy how he had tons of hits but only Jesse's girl is remembered. Thats kind of weird and rarely happens if you think think bout it

no it's not rare at all loads of musicians are like that. Bobby Darin had 38 other charting hits next to "Splish Splash", "Mack The Knife", and "Beyond The Sea." nobody except literal boomers who were there in the 60s has ever heard any of them.

Distinctions Not Cost-Effective [1980s]: This was the '80s--the Partridge Family never did anything as carnal (or good) as the breakout jealousy anthem "Jessie's Girl." This was the '80s--they never went AOR crossover, either.

alright Bob you win, you guessed accurately that none of the other product he cranked out would be remembered six months after it made the top 10.

Brian Hyland, sixteen charting hits aside from Itsy Witsy Teeny Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. Bet you can't name one.

Billy Joel must have been that good because all of his major hits still "bless" supermarkets and diners to this day.

>While DTTS is a cute song, album's very much a product of its time
especially the keybs on the song absolutely trap it in 1982
