>>127728938Really? A friend also told me that it was really good, guess I have to try it sometime soon>>127729115Honestly I have only listened to “After the Magic” and it was mediocre at best in my opinion, it's like he tried really hard to appeal to a western audience and lost almost all his touch in the process. >>127732104I'm a tool and forgot to post my own
>>127731803All three Invisible albums are really good in their own way. I suggested El jardín de los presentes because, besides being the most popular of the three, it’s the most musically varied and has a more jazz-rock vibe, which was more in line with Anon’s tastes. It’s nice to see Spinetta & his bands getting some recognition here
>>127732144I'm not a huge fan of Spinetta personally, couldn't get into Pescado Rabioso at all, but he achieved something special with Invisible. Prefer Charly and Serú, but I put both Durazno and El Jardín at the level of their best records (Piano Bar and La Grasa).

>>127727015why not>inb4 basicshit tasteyea I know
>>127732624>Ichiko AobaBased
>>127732219I feel something similar with Charly García’s bands. I really enjoy his solo work (especially his ’80s albums, from Clic modernos to Cómo conseguir chicas), but not so much the albums from his bands. I mean, they’re excellent records, but I don’t see myself going back to Serú Girán or La Máquina as often as I do with Spinetta>>127732624/mu/core at its finest, but don’t feel bad, they’re all great albums
I.... I just love Morbid Angel...
>>127733373Kinda agree with Máquina and Sui Géneris, but I do really like Serú Girán's original run, specially La Grasa which I think it's Charly's magnum opus.
Just some that come to mind, I consider lots of shit favorites>>127728938>Autechre lost the plot after confield sadly, many such casesI differ, they lost the plot after Exai>>127733532MIlk and Kisses, best Cocteau Twins album besides Four Calendar, based
>>127727194FINALLY I see Disco Inferno. >>127727306FINALLY I see Sunny Day In Glasgow>>127727347I never got Candy Claws.
>>127734027>I never got Candy Claws.i get that, theyre super noisy, but its also just such a charming cute sound, its one of my favoritesthey have another album called Two Airships/Exploder Falls that is good, but its also so noisy it made my ears hurt at the end

>>127735934Among others is one beautiful album, most of proem's discography is made of some really cold yet comforting IDM tunes.https://youtu.be/0pzOvTFrHIk>>127734713>>127736199:')
>>127736259OP here. What made it obvious, the two albums made by gay dudes and the literal rainbow album cover? Or something else?
>>127731704The whole chart was 69/420. I didn't mean only 6 out of 9 were good. The whole chart looks like a nice 9 album run to listen to all the way through. Kate bush does some celtic stuff on that album, with the bag pipes and stuff. It is like an experience.
>>127734027Since you liked Clube da Esquina check out Acabou Chorare from Novos Baianos if you haven't already.

>>127739916Piano Bar > Clics ModernosLorca > Starsailor
>>127740351Clics Modernos is a whole better album I think, but you a point on Piano Bar. If Piano Bar had No voy en tren, I could buy into it.No, because Starsailor has Tim Buckley's best songs and voice performances.
>>127727015

>>127741416Nu metal and bro country
>>127727015Give me your recs pls
>>127741537The Bats - Daddy's HighwayBetween the Buried and Me - Colors
>>127740443Piano Bar is both better produced and more raw than Clics Modernos. Lorca has both the titletrack and Driftin' which are better than any songs on Starsailor, but I agree that it's his best in terms of vocal performances tho.

Dont hear her enough on them, hear the others too much and its a bunch of noise. I think its overrated. Charli, didnt care for it found it boring. N1A is great. HIFN is arguably her magnum opus and I love it. Loved Crash has a lot of New Wave elements to it. Liked Brat, wouldnt say its her best like everyone else seems to think, but it was solid for what she was going for. Seems loosely like a concept album to me. Like the original way better than the remix I saw her play it live. It was awesome to watch, Sympathy is a Knife and Track 10 were the most memorable moments of the show. Wish Troye Sivan wasnt there making porn on the stage but Shygirl was good. True Romance is still my favorite of hers and one of my favorite albums of all time. It was hard to just choose 9 and in retrospect Im thinking of which I should have added but True Romance is a solid favorite across the board and has to be on there

Donnie Darko ruined it for me.>Listened to that Shania Twain album when I was little.Ikr, Up is a real childhood bop. It was constantly on the radio from 2002-2005. I have fond memories of long drives with my dad while Shania played. Also there are three versions iirc, a red, a green and a blue one. Red is more pop, green mor country and blue I don't even know.

>>127760869I had no idea there was more than 2 colors The CD I had only the red one and the country one which I remember being blue. Wonder where you get the 3rd colorI wonder what it sounds like.
