He's vehemently anti-war even when it's unpopular (particularly with Ukraine and WWII) and he's completely uncompromising on his commitment to free speech, expression, and artistry. Love him or hate him, he's principled and moral. He sort of reminds me of Miyazaki in that regard given they're from the same generation.Also, the art he did make was fantastic. Floyd's run under him has very few parallels in rock (if any) and The Wall's film adaptation is undisputably the best rock (and arguably music) movie ever made.
