Lets make a new /mu/core. Replace each album with a better one from ten years later
>>
>>127740564
what is twenty one pilots doing there
>>
>>127740621
Theres always the meme one. By Request Only is the classic meme album.
>>
>>127740564
why do you want one?
>>
>>127740564
these little charts like this were just some guys pet favorite albums mixed with /mu/core. it doesn't really reflect what the community was like at the time
>>
Chappell Roan - Midwest
Sabrina Carpenter - short
Taylor Swift - take your pick
Kanye - take your pick
Olivia Rodrigo - saggy and misshapen
Kendrick - TPAB
Blood Incantation - that new one
Paramore - idk their albums
Swans - any of their bullshit, I guess
MBV - Loveless
Playboi Carti - any of his bullshit, I guess

That's pretty much it. Nu /mu/.

blurryface is a decent record and I stand by this.
>>

There's been attempts to make new ones in the past.
Thing is /mu/core isn't meant to represent "best albums ever", it's meant to be a basic canon of albums you're expected to have listened to to begin to understand the culture of the board. Problem with that is /mu/ doesn't have a unified culture like it did back when these images were made (when Pitchfork reigned) which makes it a million times more difficult to create a comprehensive list of albums the entire board can agree are meant to represent the current zeitgeist.

not bad
>>
>>127741733
>Corea
>Orchid
>Mercury Rev
>Robert Ashley
Based nu-/mu/.
>>
>>127740564
Original /mucore/ were just the albums at the top
t. oldfag
>>
>>127740586
Just make it all leftoid shit like RATM and Green Day because all /mu/ does is whine about republicans and /pol/ in almost every thread these days.

Holy shit, did not expect, I don't all the way agree but it's close, way more on the pulse than OP
