It's going to suck. She is both too old to be doing the flamboyant, sexy shtick AND that shtick never fit her style or image to begin with. Not to mention Max Martin is probably the most overrated, garbage producer in the entire history of pop music. Finally, to cap it all off, Taylor's egomania has reached such heights that she genuinely believes she's capable of writing great songs without assistance from better songwriters.The album is going to be an utter catastrophe. She'll probably bounce back from it because she's most likely too big to fail at this point, but it'll nevertheless leave a humiliating stain on her career.

After the world tour she should have taken 2-3 years off and left the spotlight for a bit. She's big enough that she would have been able to build massive amounts of hype for a comeback. She's too successful to really flop in a way that ends her career but putting out mediocre, forgettable records will diminish her for sure. Overexposure will make more people start to realise that her music tends to be worse versions of whatever sounds are in the zeitgeist at the time, and that her lyrics are embarrassing and immature.
