never really understood blur and their various bandwagoning/vanity projects. they were second rate as baggy, second rate as kinks, second rate as pavement, and then there's think tank, which has to be one of the more contrived albums this side of taylor swift. just a band that had some decent singles and that's it. whereas oasis took the best bits of everything that came before them, improved on them and made their own sound, and became biblical.
