Imagine pouring your heart and soul into an album because it's your only way of living and you recently had a horrible death happen. Literally your greatest piece of work.
Then people clown on it because it isn't le edgy.

A year after TF, radiohead released Kid A and everyone sucked the cock and balls of that album despite it being so insanely different to OK Computer. Trent must've wanted to kill somebody at that point. It's probably why he got into popslop because no matter what a group of braindead people would like it.

Then, decades later, he retries actually giving a shit about his music with the trilogy. It's DOA, nobody cared about it and it even got lots of criticism.

No wonder Tron Ares fucking sucks, he hates his fans now. This is most likely his last album, he wants to end NIN by spitting in his shitty fake fans' faces.
