2014 and 2015 for me. 2014 had, in my opinion, top tier girl group music, so many iconic hits: Something, Miniskirt, Come Back Home, Catallena, Up&Down, Mamma Mia etc. There were many girl groups making their way to spotlight, like AOA, Girl's Day and Exid; lesser known/underrated groups also made bangers, like Fiestar with One More, Stellar with Marionette (the album was really good, if only people cared about lyrics and meaning too) and Mask, Hello Venus with Sticky Sticky. Hyuna with her solo song ‘Roll Deep’ and CL with her solo song ‘Hello Bitches’ and our Angel Hara with ‘How about me?’ And ‘Choco chip cookie’3rd gen was establishing with f(x) releasing ‘4 Walls’ and Red Velvet adding Yeri and releasing ‘ice cream cake’ and BTS getting a fan base and Mamamoo coming back with ‘Um Oh Ah Yeah’ and ‘Ah Oop’. 2014 was rough, not only because of all the group scandals, but because of the Sewol Ferry Accident. I vividly remember coming into school that day and comforting my friends who had family in Korea. Even now, all these years later, they still have the yellow ribbon on their bio.Even with everything I've gone through as a kpop stan, 2014 was just the fucking worst. (On a personal level, 2019 almost got me to quit kpop because of Burning Sun, but I bounced back. My mental health was in shambles by then and it took a lot of inner reflection and growth to come back.)

BAP coming back after the lawsuit with young wild and free. NCT, SVT, Monsta X debuts too.Girl groups started dominating again with Twice, RV, and Mamamoo debuting.
