You still can’t play, you still offer nothing to this general. Images should be posted when they’re relevant to the conversation or you’ve posted OC vocas not because you want attention.

I’m not a poorfag. Offsets are on the lowest spectrum of expensive guitars. I’d just like to hear something you play, so we can all say oh shit we were wrong or this faggot is below beginner level and is spamming his guitar because he can’t actually play. It’s that simple. If you were good at guitar you’d have no problem posting vocas with time stamps and proving everyone wrong. I post vocas all the time because I actually play and I get positive comments on them. You can do the same, unless you actually can’t play and you only spam pictures of your guitar because that’s the only way you can get attention.

How does it differ recording guitar directly into your PC as opposed to recording with a mic next to an amp?
>>
>>127869927
depends entirely on the length of your cable
>>
Good enough for Max!
https://youtu.be/mcYB-zv6Rc8
>>
>>127869927
one sounds sterile and naff(into pc), while the other sounds nicer and natural(mic'd amp)
>>
>>127869927
You need different cables to plug in the compy and the mikey then it works
>>
>>127869927
So it really depends on the sound you are going for. but essentially this >>127869939

For like a techno or synthy sound direct input is better since its clean and sterile but anything where you need the soul of the guitar to come through you need a mic.

>>127868721
You've had some good advice here but I'll add.

Most larger guitar shops have pedals and allow you to try them.
Boss is pretty much an industry standard so a Boss overdrive will give you a very good example of an overdrive and so on.

If you can't get to a physical shop some of these modelling amps have a huge variety of pedals. The boss Katana comes with something like 60 pedals 'built-in' but you need to connect to a PC and install software to access them on all but the newest Katanas.
The Positive grid Spark amps all come with their own clones of all the common and some less common pedals built in, these are good because they're presented as the pedals and using the app you can access and play with the settings easily.

Also JHS is good as others have mentioned but their budget range is 3 times as expensive as most budget pedals.

I’ll put a HB in the turquoise Vintera jag a some point which will require some routing so I’ve been putting it off. On top of that, the fiesta red MIJ is light years nicer than any MIA Jag I’ve played outside of custom shop models. The quality and craftsmanship BTFO of the American vintage JMs let alone MIM offsets. It actually has nice components too like an alder body, pure vintage pickups and really nice jumbo frets.

>>127874381
The problem is your classified is a block paragraph résumé. There's no personality or useful information outside of "29 y.o. bassist desperate to play anything with anyone." You need leverage to sell yourself to a job or a band. Think of how terrible it is to read 250 band names then the musician shows up and can't play one song, cover or original. Put some personality or proof of work on the page.

Listing a couple genres is quick to read and understand.

Put your contact info as little tear-offs at the bottom. Put some art, photos, or music or something to give people an impression.
Use "tokening." This is what Sweetwater does. You can spend 80 cents for that fucking candy anywhere. When you get it with your new toys in the mail, you associate and remember Sweetwater as a brand. So, attach picks with your logo or sd cards with your music. Use any trinket of little or zero value.

I had a good one, but sold it. They don't make it anymore. The Reflex, which was like a bigger Axis. The best thing about them are the Dimarzio pups, which were the original pups designed for EVH. Dimarzio made some exclusive deal with EBMM to not ever sell them separately, so they go for a pretty penny. Not even EVH could use them again in his own brand.

Nu metal was kind of a disaster for guitar brands figuring out a way to fit in with its culture. Schecter did better than almost all of them though. Look at some of the Fender guitars from back then. They were awful...unless they were just sticking to their own thing.

Some guy had an ad for a bass player, I texted him and he called me to setup something for sunday. Doesnt care that im a beginner so thats nice. Definitely is a boomer because he's a rolling stones fan and plays AC/DC with his guitar player. Pretty excited but also nervous. Going to practice my ass off.
