Might've been my favorite album of all time had I heard it back in 2007, when I was 15 years old. Unfortunately, I first heard it about a decade later. It's fine, one of the better PT albums I suppose. Anesthetize and Way Out Of Here are bretty gud.

The opinion on this album and Porcupine Tree in general is fascinating to me, among the average music nerd it's often seen as uninspired while among prog nerds they're often seen as one of the greats, I'm definitely in the latter camp despite my love and hate relationship with the genre

Steve is a guy who's probably very passionate about music and his work, this adds a layer of sincerity and a so ramparts of depth which are welcoming in any form of art, yet uncommon.
