Is he the greatest bassist of all times?
I always found the whole "greatest at x" thing to be dumb, there are a ton of people who could play what he does but it just isn't their style. There are probably like a few thousands unknown bass players that are on his level.

Very few bassists could even sound like his hands do and it takes a crazy amount of skill to play and sing something like Tommy the Cat.
