He's a lot better than your favorite artist.
cant stop listening to pump it up
>>127920905He became the "Jazzmaster" poster boy of New Wave when he just copied Tom Verlaine. A much better player and artist.
>>127920905'fraid not
>>127920920delusional
>>127922558What's delusional. Television and Verlaine were long before Costello. That's a matter of fact.
>>127922580They're contemporaries and they sound nothing alike.
>one more widow, one less white nigger
>>127920905OP looks like Elvis Costello
>>127921428'fraid so
>>127920905>Elvis Crapellohate that nerdo
>>127920905I remember getting a big haul of vinyl records in like 2004 with album from picrel and being like who tf is this guy
>>127920905Look at that four-eyed Poindexter. I'd like to smash his face in.

>>127925399And then you thought how great the album is, right?
>>127925399This is such a weird cover for what's basically his most pop-friendly album yet. Looks like a Billy Bragg record. I know his usual design guy died but what the hell were they aiming for with this? The other Attractions sleeves are genuine artworks, and then there's this generic, last-minute eyesore.
>>127925472Never listened to it lol.
Imperial Bedrooms and Armed Forces are both great-tierplenty of other albums of his are also pretty good albeit more flawed (like Spike, Trust, Mighty Like a Rose etc.)
If Amoeba Music is anything to go off, his albums are among the least in-demand in the Hollywood area. Alongside the likes of Springsteen, Jeff Beck and Elton John but I'm not sure how many aging parents were into Elvis Costello compared to those others
>>127927960Speaking from experience, if you have late boomer/early GenX parents you got all of his records from them and didn't need to buy any. My dad owned basically everything Costello did until 1990.
