I’ve been listening to a lot of British post-punk and new wave lately, and it’s a very dour compared to what was coming out of America at the time.

Thatcher and Reagan were both shit leaders but Reagan at least had Hollywood cred and told jokes. Thatcher was just all around a miserable human being.
