The problem with taylor swift is that she made an incredibly good and deep album. It is impossible to deny how good Folklore is. It is her Magnum Opus.It made her genuinely believe she is a really really really good songwriter when she's not, she just hit gold once. This is why all her current albums sound the same, she's trying so bad to recreate Folklore but she will never be able to do something like that again because she is in essence, mediocre.I miss when she embraced what she truly is: a generic and mediocre white girl. 1989, Reputation and Lover are good albums because she wasn't trying to pretend she was a really talented artist, it felt natural.She became an empty shell of what she used to be and I feel really sad for her.
