Today 3 decades ago, Oasis' sophomoric record WTS MG? came out to the market. Very surprised that no one on this board has emphasized about this yet... Any retrospectives?

Fucking mad for it. Oasis are british culture in it's truest form, the entire country knows the words to wonderwall off by heart Absolutely BIBLICAL Fucking CELESTIAL Blur are alright too I suppose, they have a couple of decent tunes As you were LG x
>>12794056290s lad here, remember when it came out and started to really blow up and every single record shop in the uk would have stacks and stacks of tapes and cds of both albums and all the singles behind the counter.Personally I liked it just fine was but way more into me big beat, DnB and trip hop in those days but even after nights at clubs and raves someone would always put on oasis at the after party, champagne supernova always gives me vivid memories of driving home in a car full of strangers coming down off E's, shit was unavoidable, everyday I thank the good lord more and more I got to be young then and not now
>>127940562if they're so great, why aren't they known outside of the UK?
>>127942035>Loaded questionAnd when did you stop sucking dicks?
>>127941775your brain is generic m8

Can't wait to hear Acquiesce and Champagne Supernova unplugged lolknebworth 2026 better happen istg especially after Liam said "see ya next year" at the last show they played
>>127944696SameOn slsk already, there seems to be someone with that album, but it's locked up now...
>>127940562>Any retrospectives?Yeah, it's biblical.
IMAGINE NO WANKERS
>>127944696>Champagne Supernova unplugged lollol indeed, it's terrible. but there's a neat moment before the solo (or where the solo should go) when liam goes "CAM ON"i wonder if it's part of the original vocal or if they flew it in from a live show
>>127946396Yeah that part before the outro is basically just white noise with liam singing"na na na" over it, but for some reason now I have listened to it more its a top 5 song of all time for me>>127945706well wtsmg 30th anniversary comes out tomorrow so i would just wait for it
>>127940562My gateway album into music. Loving the comebackWhy do they never perform Hey Now live? I'd love to hear it

This is a neo-glam record. Prove me wrong.
>>127954077NG x would take that as a compliment though the most glam song by far didn't make the cut here or on The Masterplan: Round are Way
>Another interview that isn't NoelMandatory repost until it happens
>>127954369DId he interview him? Fucking retard with tease an interview then take a month to upload it.
>>127944628UK reverbgaze includes Oasis. There is not much of a difference between Slowdive, Catherine Wheel and Ride, stylistically. It’s all Beatlesesque Reverb Rock.
>>127954395*, Oasis
>>127954392>Just finished up an interview with the one and only @themightyi. Watching Oasis for the second night in a row!Would be awfully dumb for him to post that and never publish it
>>127940562Somewhat funny but I remember a newsletter from my bank was the first exposure. They sent a newsletter for all the kids with an account and for some reason they had some pop news in it and they had a raving review about Oasis being the next big thing and had a cool article about the record. Listening Roll With It I was hooked.Become a life time addiction. Looking back I should have paid more attention with the wall street news on that same newsletter. I would be rich now.
