>>127944230I don't want to spoil it for myselfI'm listening to their studio stuff and now I'm on the 2000s era
>>127944230Going to see them in 2 weeks. Can't wait. Each live show is a different thing, right?
>>127944338Each gig is a variation of the set they're playing at the moment.
>>127944230I'll hold off on listening to these sets till they're released, I really don't want to listen to a phone recording lol.I have been obsessed with the first half of their Barcelona set for the past year now. Nothing else in their discography comes close for me.
>>127944338This is a chart from the 2022 showsIt seems the set changes over time with some overlaps. I don't know if that's the case with these recent shows though.
The sound design of this kind of music is cool I guess but most of it sounds free-form for me outside of individual phrases that loop a few times before moving to the next thing that doesn't seem to match into any overall beat I can tap with my foot except the last half-hour. Is there really an underlying logic going on or is it mostly random/psuedorandom variation every few seconds again and again with no overall beat or time signature per beat? Can people really follow this in their heads as a rhythmically coherent thing for more than a few seconds?

Is Surripere their best song?
>>127945370I haven't heard their latest music but I can say that it's not entirely random, I don't know if they still use max/msp but if you check this video you'll have an idea on how their music workshttps://youtu.be/3PLmMRFPItQBasically each song is a bunch of parameters that change overtime and stuff, or you can also modify them on the fly
>>127947024They only use MAX/MSP since Exai
>>127946982For me, it's Austriayoutube.com/watch?v=gZ6h4rrh6eg
