It comes out next week. The production is just Havoc and Alchemist which is a good thing but the practice of slapping a bunch of unreleased music together into a project that Prodigy had no stated intent of releasing is just kind of weird, especially as he may well of not used the verses as he didn't think they were up to par.

i listened to sauce walka the other day and was immensely surprised to find a dude that was delivering sermon raps and telling real nuanced stories about being a retard on the streets. definitely one of the better rappers out there today, though i can imagine his style getting old after a while.
however all the griselda knockoff stuff is just grim. al.divino, crimeapple, all those guys are like fast food music pretending to be serious soul food.
i'm all for suggestions of newer rappers with very cool flows.

DMX doesn't get enough respect as a top 10 rapper. I can't think of many rappers that combine club bangers, gangsta songs, emotional songs, and even gospel.

I would put him at #1 personally.

Just copy your favorite rappers, like actually perform their songs to yourself. Download a DAW, search type beats on youtube, and make a shit ton of songs. you will get better naturally

You have to remember that P's vocals or around 10 years old & older so they're going to sound better than Havoc who's over 50 years old now.
Another good comparison is Deltron 3030 vs The Event II, the difference is easy to make out.
I'm not listening to any of the new Mobb Deep tracks until the full album is out so I'll see for myself then.
