Which is worse?
>>127963188Nobody posting here now is old enough to remember St. Anger
>>127963188St Anger is one of the greatest metal albums ever created.
>>127963250Not saying much. Metal sucks.
>>127963294It's also one of the greatest albums of the 2000s period.
>>127963250>>127963294>>127963315Stop being ironic. Which is worse?
>>127963188I don’t ever want to meet a person who listens to swift and metallica
>>127963338Two of them are the best-selling artists in the world. You're going to bump into them eventually. Suck it up.
St. Anger gave us the documentary which is the great music related film of all time. This walled hag gave us high school pettiness at nearly 40 years old and horniness like she just got cleared to do it by her parents. Metallica won.
>>127963325Obviously The Life Of A ShowgirlIt is exceedingly boring musicallyYour comparison is utterly retarded
>>127963188St Anger is pure crap, 1/5 stars, no good moments.TLoaS is mediocre, with some great moments, and is an improvement over TTPD (which isn't saying much) 3/5 stars.
>>127963397How? Both are infamous entries in two of the best global selling artists' respective discographies. Of course, St. Anger's release coincided with the band's war with Napster, on top of squandering goodwill with Load and Reload, so perhaps that album was doomed to fail. TLoaS was hyped to death for months, where even major network news ran stories on its release. I think the comparison is more than apt.
>>127963426>Both are infamous entriesit's been a day nigga
>>127963413you're trans
>>127963426basedthe only difference is that TLoaS is an improvement over Tortured Poets (meaning there's upward trajectory, hope of a Taylorenissance if you will), whereas St Anger was abysmal compared to Reload.
>>127963348nah
>>127963480St Anger is the best entry in Metallica's discography.
>>127963502OOOOooooooOOOOoooo WHAT A GOOD BOY YOU ARE
>>127963188>kid a>st. a>blessed carlo acutisuhhh /mu/bros????
>>127963188I know that this is an ironic post and that you're trying to be funny but please stop making this dogshit comparison, even Garage Inc. which is a cover album blows Taylor's whole discography out of the water.
>>127963641Actually, I'm being quite sincere. This album maybe TayTay's St. Anger moment.
>>127963683I have never heard any of taytay's songs except "22" and I'm pretty sure i was in middle school when that came out.
>>127963704I just googled when that song came out, turns out i was in primary school
>>127963641Many are saying this
>>127963716>Britbong zoomerOpinion discarded.
You are a fucking idiot
>>127963762NO U
St. Anger has the line "I'm madly in anger with you" which is just terrific to my senses.Showgirl has a super personal and personable vibe with great alt-rock and motown influence.
>>127964074Are we trying to pick upsides to dogshit?
>>127964007I know you are but what am i
>>127963739You listen to taylor swift, i don't think your opinion matters
>>127964179No, I actually think the St. Anger music video was a height of performance. The song isn't anything like their old stuff, but just watch the passion they have:https://youtu.be/6ajl1ABdD8A& Taylor Swift has always been more of a journal writin' musical genius. The final track is a better send off than Congratulations by MGMT.The Fate of Ophelia pissed me off at first. It's like, it opens with a callback to Folklore era piano, and the vocal melody and drumming really feel like an angst ABBA.I gave Folklore a 10/10 first listen. By 3rd listen of Showgirl, I thought it was better.Folklore is a chore if you're not into it, but it's essentially Taylor at her most strongly vulnerable. Showgirl is going to test very well in nation's that don't know English, but I think the lyrics are going to open up to everyone soon.
>>127964179Imagine the morale at that prison. Metallica is fucking awesome, and the line "no regrets" came out while they were still being panned by Napster users.
>>127964304If you take Some Kind Of Monster and you replace it with those old timey Wild West type of acoustic guitars, it would sound just like those stereotypical cinematic kind of jailhouse tunes.
>>127963294TRVTH NVKE
st anger is god awful, but so god awful that its funny
>>127963242I bought it on cassette from sanity music.
