>>127980069In case you don't know the fab four used to be fab five and had 3 guitarists, that's right, 3 guitarists and Stu Sutcliffe was the one playing bass until he decided to leave the band after one of the Hamburg tourings, by that time John had bought a very expensive Rickenbacker guitar and said he was not going to play bass, George was the most skilled lead and Paul being the more versatile instrumentalist was the obvious decision. The thing is, the Beatles were pioneering in that too, they had 3 guitarists long before this was common.
