Now that the dust is settling, which album will it be?
>>127984375Taylor vs some literally who
>>127984375Clout chaser thread
>>127984375The dust settled on Saggy's career long ago.
>>127984432She still has a chance. She toured with Coldplay, for whatever that's worth.
>>127984432The rise and the fall of Maggie Rogers is kind of comical because in 2016 there was this narrative/almost a foregone conclusion from her fans and music bloggers that she was going to be the next huge thing, it was like ‘Hillary Clinton is going to win the election’ levels of inevitability. It was like ‘Maggie Rogers is going to be the next major thing and not even God can stop it.’ Yet her meteoric rise to fame never appeared and her career never really took off the ground. Always been kind of funny to me.In a way it was kind of odd because she did have all the elements to make it big, the fact that she was promoted by Pharrell Williams wasn’t the only thing she had going for her. She’s some of the best proof of the concept in the music industry that you can’t always force fame even if it seems that all of the qualities of stardom are present.
>>127984769Trouble is, she came too late. If she dropped in 2011, she would've been big
>>127984769She caters to an entirely different audience.
>>127984404What clout?
The world knows Taylor Swift. The world doesn't know Maggie. Even at TayTay's worst, she's still relevant.
>>127985386Alexa, play "Campaigner" by Neil Young.
>>127985891Cope. Maggie would kill for a slice of the "bookish" part of Taylor's audience.
>>127990070Hence why she toured with Coldplay and even covered a TS song.
I'm going with the biological woman on this one.
