Yes, deathcore is a joke.
I don't see why downtempo deathcore would be a fake genre, it's just the death-doom of deathcore. Nadir doesn't sound like The Cleansing.

Kek I had a weed guy in like 2015 who would just BLAST this shit so loud from his apartment you could hear it from the parking lot next building over. Literally every band sounded the exact same except I think there was a band called Black Tongue or something that sounded alright. I was never into "core" genres. Plus he was always fucking random scene/emo chicks so he must've been doing something right and living his best life.

I understand coming up with names for recent/modern scenes and subgenres, but i really fucking hate how RYM is infested with zoomers born in 2005 who say "You know that band from the 90s you like? They actually belong to this hyperspecific subgenre that was only coined in 2022. No, they didn't belong to that genre that's been around for 50 years, don't be stupid."
