Perhaps, but it shouldn't. We need to view our relationship with chatgpt and future AI tech as symbiotic rather than "us vs. them" - technology is an extension of us, after all.

But if you must view AI as competition, you should take comfort in knowing that the only thing it's good at right now is taking existing formulas and essentially replicating them. It's pretty much incapable of doing anything that pushes boundaries and challenges the way we think about a particular medium.
