Early 20s music taste (non derogatory). Check out mass of the fermenting dregs

just listened to aoi koi daidaiiro no hi. This is pretty chill thanks bro <3

Alright, but if you were to pick only one out of your 25 and describe why you like it, which would you pick?

I'd go with my top 1. I'm not a good music reviewer but I love dense and spastic guitar music. I like instrumental music. That album is so angular and tense. I also play guitar so trying to decipher what the lead is doing is a fun exercise.
The song titles are really pretty sounding too. :)

Chon Enjoyer

You might like Erotic Cakes by Guthrie Govan or Cosmic Messenger by Jean-Luc Ponty. Bit more of a bucket pull, definitely not dense, but an enjoyable guitar driven instrumental album for me is The Rainbow Goblins by Masayoshi Takanaka

yeah chon's one of the bands I had to limit to 1 album or I'd have three more up there. Guthrie Govan is a great person and great instructor, but his actual playing just doesnt do it for me. Imma listen to The Rainbow Goblins rn

listen to sunbather

If you like angular guitar music then you should get into like post-punk and no wave music imo.
Some albums I recommend:
>Gang of Four - Entertainment
>Big Black - Atomizer
>Glenn Branca - The Ascension (this is basically proto-gybe)

frick I forgot to put sunbather up there. That would go in top 20 for sure
