WE ARE YOUNG

This guy seems like a nasty piece of work t bh, he's so negative.
>>
What Weird Al sounds like to people who hate Weird Al
>>
>>127993355
I don't understand why we're retconning gentrified early 2010s Mumford-&-Sons-tier fake-folk into being more popular than it actually was at the time. Everybody fucking hated it back then too.

He would have nailed it and it would have been more fun if he was a little more subtle. He's just too over the top to make it really funny.
>>127994808
That style was huge and everywhere though. It was immensely popular and basically unavoidable, but it was also hated by a lot of people at the same time. Both things are true. It's hard for something to get that popular and not spawning haters too.
I thought it was horrendous at the time and still do, but it was the best time of my life so I'm a bit sentimental to the time period, but not the music/style.

Isn't it like Taylor swift? Lot of people seem to hate her or dislike her or just want to ignore her if anything and have no interest in the hype yet apparently tons of people love her if shes the biggest pop star now. I never met anyone who liked her in any way

Early life never fails

Yeah you could compare it to that. Mega success also breeds a lot of hate.
I think the whole stomp-clap-hey thing was just spread out in a cultural way and not just isolated to a band/artist.
>>
>>127993395
Weird Al's parodies sound like they're coming from a place of genuine appreciation for the artists.
>>
Mumford and Sons is the go to example for stomp clop hey but at least it sounds like 'actual' music. The bottom of the barrel is 'This is gonna be the best day of my liiiiiife my li-i-i-i-i-iiiiiiiife (Woo ooo ooo ooo woooo ooo)', which was written for Disney World commercials

He's right stomo clap hey, that was so gay
But does he ever make fun of black music?
>>
>>127996427
He did a parody of UK garage.
>>
>>127996488
Making fun of black british guys is socially acceptable in america

Don't diss UK rap, suck your nan init
>>

Kyle Gordon's parody songs seemed all in good fun enough especially for a Jew, until his nu-metal parody which was just aggressively mean-spirited and kiked, at which point I lost any bit of respect I had
>>
>>127994808
even if nobody listened to it on their own time, it was in many many places of business
restaurant core
>>
>>127996783
I thought it was pretty funny and I love nu metal
>>
>>127996829
nothing about it is funny, it was some of the most juvenile shit I've heard all decade, not an ounce of it was even accurate
>>
>>127996998
Well someone clearly didn't suck the dick or drink the piss.
>>
>>127993355
The beginning and end of "We Are Young" is basically Paul Simon.
>>

He knows he gave her that scar a few months ago and is now worried that the pair of sunglasses she's talking to at the bar is gonna cuck him
