Why is this album so panned? It never gets played live.
Animals [Columbia, 1977]This has its share of obvious moments. But I can only assume that those who accuse this band of repetitious cynicism are stuck in such a cynical rut themselves that a piece of well-constructed political program music--how did we used to say it?--puts them uptight. Lyrical, ugly, and rousing, all in the right places. B+

THE EVIDENCEBEFORE THE COURT ISINCONTROVERTIBLE
Animals doesn't have replay value like the other big PF albumsit's great as a standalone piece of art but just can't hold up to repeated listening
The Division Bell is the only Pink Floyd album worth listening to.
>>128002863roger plays dogs at his shows all the time. Its too long to play on the radio because Iheartradio needs to squeeze in more ads inbetween another set of under pressure and you give love a bad name
>>128003251It's the only album I continue to listen to. There's no filler. There are like three good songs on The Wall. Found this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0NeIDVRYiY
