post your depression albums

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpvwxKUfTs8lyrics are all japanese and i have no idea what they are but this album feels so vibrantly despondent, if that even makes sense
while her album 'songs' has higher highs, the tone of this album feels a bit more consistent and subdued and is the one i turn to more oftenhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIGB1chorl0>See my death become a trail>And the trail leads to a flower>I will blossom in your sail>Every dreamed and waking hourhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPWyePlywTIheartwrenchin
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alaWvPunh6s>Oh, it's sad>I see in other men who I wanna be>Sympathy, honesty>God knows I'm trying
I would've posted one but seeing the kind of pathetic ubersoiboi GARBAGE that's been posted, I'd rather gatekeep it.

I really like these three albums in sequence. Ylayali had a pretty cohesive run with these three (enough that in my mind they form a triology), then took a big departure from there. The two albums leading up to yy are also really bummer stuff, and they suit the fall, though they don't quite fit with the yy/picked apart/pumpkin patch run. Only yy is still available on Bandcamp so I keep a Mega folder with the restlilytapesanddiscs.bandcamp.com/album/yyhttps://mega.nz/folder/W8lU3ZTZ#8tMPFl8W98WtXo36ZLWrYQ>>128004327Nice pick. You might like Grady Stiles. Ylayali on drums.https://gradystiles.bandcamp.com/album/missingno>>128006372Great album, and it's depressed for sure, but it has an undercurrent of something like hope. Pre-Volcanic Bird I wouldn't expect a line like>I'm wasting my time but I'm happyfrom Lil Ugly Mane. Overall it has a feeling of resignation or rock bottom, but as if before a turning point. Entirely different tone from something like the bedwetter release.
Porcupine Tree in general
One really interesting thing I've nooticed is that when shit is going well, depressing music becomes cool, but when shit is terrible, it becomes cringe and joyous music becomes cool. Like in the Obama era it was all The Antlers and Have a Nice Life and then Trump happened and suddenly it was 100 gecs and SOPHIE. What's up with that?

Last time i listened to this album i started thinking about how I'm a disappointment to my parents and thought about killing myself so i try to avoid it these days
Failed Songs and The Mess we Made hit just as good.
The best album for middle aged alcoholics
