my pet theory about AJFA is that its dedicated to cliff burton this is the first album after cliffs death, Lars and Hetfield have maintained over the years that they believe the bus driver was high and fell asleep at the wheel and the official story from the Swedish police is essentially a cover up the cover, james and Lars sneaking back in last minute to cut the bass from the album. makes sense to me at least
