If we consider the band with an honest, objective lens, they undeniably took the crown of greatest 2000s thrash band with City of Evil, and it's not even close. Don't know much about the rhythym guitarist other than the early metalcore albums were mostly him and the vocalist. I knew quite a bit about the band back in the day because I was a fanboy in my early teens. It always seemed to be the Rev and Synyster Gates doing most of the songwriting for their best material with the others just pitching in here and there. The bass was inaudible most of the time.
