They got lots of great albums and amazing riffs, their problem was that they didn't transition through the 90s in a "fashionable" way, like Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth did. The other big 3's albums were so bad that people made fun of them for that, while Anthrax's was just shitty in a mid way, so people didn't find their failure memorable.
