You've been visited by the grunge Kiss album.
Sudden Kiss uptake in discussion. Hotter than Hell's murky production is why its the best Kiss record, and I'd say the tunes are best too. Whole A side is rock solid, B has some filler but Watchin' You and the absolute melter Strange Ways make up for it. A classic of sleaze. Kiss shoulda became a noise sleaze rock band in the 80s.
Lmao even Black Sabbath on one of their hair metal era albums tried to sound like Alice in Chains.
>>128109035I always thought Cross Purposes was more them going for a Soundgarden vibe than AiC
it's actually a pretty heavy album. especially from KISS. the song Hatred is HEAAAAVVYY
>>128108283What about their prog album?
>>128108283Let's hope it doesn't happen again for another 30 years!
>>128108283Ah yes the reverse sell-out how very 90s alternative
>>128108283guy on the far right is hot
>>128111018Far right men usually are
>>128108283Every time I dig into KISS’s discography, I come across a new low, an album so bad I once thought it was impossible to go lower.
>>128111074would be funnier if it were true
>>128111085Sonic Boom is kino.
this visit just invoked grunge maroon 5 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtvFBAHPyG4&themeRefresh=1
>>128108283They tried to jump on a bunch if different bandwagons during their career. They managed to do it at the right time in the 80s but completely missed it by several years in the 90s. Still, one of their best albums. >>128109035There's literally one song (Virtual Death) on Cross Purposes that have Alice in Chains-like vocal harmonies in the verses. The rest of that album has much more of a Soundgarden feel as >>128109080 said.
this is what happens when 4 jews get together
