I don't get people saying the 67 "meme" is a nonsense "meme". It's not a meme, and not nonsense. The rapper was referring to an address, and the boy was referring to the height of the basketball player. What am I missing?

The song is technically the origin and then a tiktok edit of lamelo ball (basketball player who is 6'7) went viral afterwards (with help from a soundbite from stephen a smith, basketball analyst) but even then it was just a niche basketball reference. The kid doing the hand motion with it is the actual meme part of 67.

i agree, it's overrated and on the weaker end of their later albums. but it has some good stuff like lovely rita (i love the piano solo), she's leaving home and a day in the life of course. but it also just feels so boring compared to some of their other stuff, it's between revolver, when the beatles started experimenting, and magical mystery tour and the white album, the peak of their experimentation before let it be and abbey road, which weren't as psychedelicbut are still praised as some of their best work.overall, i think sgt peppers just doesn't compare to their other albums, it just feels like a bunch of paul's nursery rhymes.
