It’s pretty cool that music like this is still being made. Even the cover is 90s vibes

it's alright, why not just listen to deftones at that point since they did it first and better. then again, deftones hired them to open for them so maybe there's some merit to them

What the fuck is that supposed to mean

Fleshwater are much, much better musicians technically speaking than Deftones ever were. Mirsy warms up with Bach/Chopin on her piano and yet her and band just play slightly more advanced Deftones chords and effects because it pays the bills. Sad

They're definitely the most musically interesting of the Deftones worship bands. There's like 5 of them around me locally in Texas. They get dubbed heavy shoegaze, but they always just sound like the shoegazier/dreamier side of Deftones.

Are you insane?

are deftones like this?

Nostalgia slop with heckin safe and valid multicolor text (so quirky!) and a female singer so girls can listen to a heckin Gen Z band without being scared of getting psychologically raped

And guess what? It sounds exactly like deftones, zero originality

This is not bad

>deftones hired them to open for them so maybe there's some merit to them
So that's why they're so popular compared to other nu-grunge bands
>>
This band doesn't even sound that much like Deftones. The hardcore influence is much stronger in them than in the Deftones. They also are great.

I've seen them live twice. The first they opened for Deftones, the second time Chat Pile opened for them and Chat Pile mogged them.
>>
jfc this sucks

I like this album but I saw them over the summer and they were the muddiest sounding band I've ever seen. Also I'd take a new Vein album at this point over more Fleshwater.
