It reminds me a lot of the minimal synth/ dark wave sound of someone like Molly Nillson or John Maus. Production and tones are more meaty than the usual output for this genre. I think it desperately screams for a more PS2-era visual identity. I see where anime girls with guns fits in 100% but if you steered that towards a Requiem (ps2) visual style, it would make it so much easier for me to get into the "narration" part of the release. Imo, you need to seem "smarter" in that sense, so people can get on board. I would 100% see the EP cover art being gamebox art basically. That way, the instrumentals are basically video game OST from some amazing relic of the 00s, much cooler feeling listening to it.
