I'm exactly the same age as Mac (born literally days a part), exact same Western Canadian phenotype, and even met the guy a few times through mutual friends in Vancouver in the early 2010s... I have the same body type, and started balding at exactly the same time Mac did. It's just life, man. We're mid-30s... not old, not young. I'm also quite lean right now, but I rock the full shaved head look personally. Works for me, but it doesn't exactly scream "I make art!" when you walk around like a goddamn skin head. Kinda sucks in that regard.
